He was predeceased by: his parent Louis Fager; and his brother Louis. He is survived by: his spouse Joan M. Fager (Kostelnik); his parent Anna Fager (Pfeiffer); his son Robert F. Jr.; his wife Cheryl of Allentown; his sister Dolores (Alvin Buchman) of Allentown; and also, Eric (Cheri) of New Tripoli, Casey, Jordan, Niko and Jovina.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Robert's memory to St. Francis of Assisi, St. Joseph the Worker, or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation all co/ the funeral home.
