He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schlegel and Leona Schlegel (Smith); his daughter JoBeth; and his brothers, Richard, Robert and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Schlegel (Mann); his children, Ronald, Jr. and Jane Brown (Terry); and his siblings, Colin, Karen Dreher (Arlington) of Allentown, Arlene Reitz (Forrest) of Whitehall and Jean Scheirer of Bethlehem. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
