He was predeceased by: his wife Lois H. King; his parents, Abram Rohrer King and Hannah Vaughn Owens King; and his brother Samuel Louis King. He is survived by: his wife Lois Marilyn Herndon; his children, Randy S. King (Kristen), Karen R. King, Marilyn D. King, Linda S. King and Stephen R. King (Carol); and his brothers, Kenneth DeWayne "Dewey" King (Peggy) and Harold Owen King (Barbara). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
