She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Newkirk and Elizabeth Newkirk-Abney; her spouse Marion Hooks; her sisters, Beatrice Cole and Rosa Newkirk; and her stepsister Mattie Bosket.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Jarvis Wright, Dominic Wright and Dawud Wright; her goddaughter Jalessa Davis; and her sister Georgia Adam (Peaches). She is also survived by family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (302 N 6th St, Allentown, PA 18102). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
