She was predeceased by: her husband John G. Pletz, Jr.; and her parents, Ralph Wieder and Mildred Wieder (Balliet). She is survived by: her children, Anthony R. Messina of Coplay, John G. Pletz III of Lehighton and Merryann (Kevin Uetz) of Slatington; her brother Barton (Jane) of Bath; her grandchildren, Megan DeRoach, Emily Staskowski, Kelly Uetz, Douglas Pletz and Julia Pletz; and her great grandchild Wesley Reynolds. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
