He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Joan Kline; his parents, Joseph E. Kline and Pearl Kline (Stuver); his daughter Joan Marie; and his siblings, Roland, Joyce Adler, Crystle Reight and Edwin Kline.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy L. Perestock (Don Bertok), Joseph E. Kline II (Diana), David R. Kline (Kim), Chester J. Kline, Jr. (Gail), Daniel E. Kline (Lisa) and James M. Kline (Tracy); his grandchildren, Michael Perestock (Corinne), Jennifer (Nathan), Roberts, Ryan Perestock (Liz), Daniel Perestock (Jessica), Joseph Kline III, Matthew (Ariel), David, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Keegan and Patrick Kline (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Ella, Gavin Perestock, Victoria Roberts, Joanna Perestock and Evelyn Perestock; his sister Shirley Conley; and his sister-in-law Diane Gallagher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
