Claire Hughes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025, at the age of 93, Claire Hughes (Allison Park, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, Ambrose Bergan and Dewreatha Bergan; and her sister Evelyn Meeder. She is survived by: her son Phil (Michele); her granddaughters, Emily and Sarah; her son Tom (Tammy); her granddaughter Nicole; her sister Mary Grossett; and her friend Silver Sneakers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM at the King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (2841 Woodland Cir, Allison Park, PA 15101). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Martha & Mary Parish (2554 Wildwood Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests an offering in Claire's memory to your local hospice center, Little Sisters of the Poor (https://littlesistersofthepoorpittsburgh.org), or the American Macular Degeneration Foundation please.
