He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Carolyn Safron, Sr. (Debes); and his brother Thomas Safron. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Safron (Kendrick); his daughters, Kimberly Kravanja (Charles Kepple) and Jean McDade (Douglas) of Fox Chapel; his grandsons, Dexter and Elliot McDade; and his nephew Ben Kendrick.
