With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte Ross of Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Charlotte's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charlotte has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Snare and Mae Snare (Kensinger); her spouse Clair H. Ross; her children, Sherena Ross and Clair Ross; and her sisters, Shirley Isenberg and Marge Waite.
She is survived by: her children, Amy C. Ross, Allen W. and Terry L.; and her brother Joe Snare. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sorge Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (422 N Juniata St, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
