He is survived by: his children, Judith A. Yost (Paul) of Altoona, Jane Young (Richard) of Conway, SC, Jan L. Lardizabal (Benjamin) of Newville, Daniel G. Walter (Doris) of Silver Spring, MD, Jennifer R. Betar (John) of Newville, David P. Walter (Debbie) of Manassas, VA, Dennis M. Walter, Sr. of Altoona and Jacqueline S. Mowery (George) of Duncansville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
