He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair A. Beatty and Alma L. Beatty (Shinafelt); his spouse Shirley M. Vaughn; and his siblings, Richard, Robert Beatty and Linda Smiach.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Beatty (Nancy) of Bellwood, Debra Harper (Rodney) of Eldorado, Ronald Beatty (Kathie) of Altoona, Wendy Cowan (Robert) of Altoona and Kevin Beatty (Trina) of New Cumberland; his grandchildren, Justin Beatty (Sumer), Scott Harper (Samantha), Heidi Wills, Tracey Davis (Justin), Nathan Beatty, Jonathan Beatty (Shauna), Aimie Astore (Joey), Alyssa Hagerty (Billy), Angela Cochran (Matthew) and Brandi McCracken (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Spencer Beatty, Megan Harper, Ryan Harper, Ariana Beatty, Addison Beatty, Brenden Beatty, Camden Beatty, Jase Cochran, Dylan Cope, Katelyn Astore, Grafton Astore, Vera Astore, Gracie Hagerty and Aiden Hagerty; his brothers, David Beatty (Nancy) of Florida and Walter Beatty (Becky) of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Beatty of Hollidaysburg, Cathy Beatty and Michael Smiach of South Fork.
The viewing and funeral service will be held outdoors at the church due to Covid-19 concerns and it is requested social distancing protocols please be followed.
