He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sr. Fix and Esther Fix (Mingle); and his sister Jeanette Glass. He is survived by: his wife Heide L. (Gemba); his children, Esther Schuetrum (Robert), Pamela Long (Jerry) of Tyrone, Donald L. III (Jacqueline) of Altoona and Stephan (Brenda) of Altoona; and his sisters, Nancy Irvin, Terry Rettburg and Janet MacDonald. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
