Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Douglas F. Zimmerman Sr. and Melissa Ann Long Zimmerman of Clear Spring, MD.; his wife Robin Zimmerman; his children, Michael, Brandy, Megan and Amber; and his sister Alicia D. Marianelli (Robert). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (600 S Potomac St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
