He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer A. O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Brien (Wellock); and his daughter Kathleen E. O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Sollenberger; his children, Erin C. Robertson (Matthew), Kelly A. O'Brien-Gavin and Sean P. O'Brien (Barbra) of Fayette City, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan Weiner, John Gavin, Jr., Casey Gavin Smith, Cailin Gavin, Ethan Robertson, Hunter Robertson, Chevy Ewing and Gemma Ewing; and his great grandchildren, Marshall Gavin and Salvatore Edivan.
