With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred F. Putt Jr. of Altoona, Pennsylvania, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 21, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred F. Putt and Kathryn Putt (Nichols); and his sisters, Kathryn Conner and Rosella Mae Banfield. He is survived by : his wife Susan Miller; his children, Kevin A. Putt (Dayna) of Tyrone and Julie A. Sanders (Frank) of Altoona; his granddaughters, Samantha M. Wright (William) of Altoona, Ashley L. Eastep of Williamsburg and Courtney E. Putt of Altoona; his great grandchildren, Jordan Bishop and Mila Fawks; and his brother Jeffery Putt (Sandra).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home (719 N 4th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Fred's honor to Jaffa Shriners, 2200 Broad Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
