It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Sanders Jr. of Altoona, Pennsylvania, born in Kermit, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilford, Sr. and Ivy Zoe Sanders (Wood); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Gentry and Melvin Bartley. He is survived by: his wife Norma Rose DeStefano; and his sisters, Zoe Bartley of Hewitt, Patricia Gentry of Arlington and Joy Sanders of Hewitt, Texas. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
