He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Benner and Betty Benner (Holderman); and his brothers, Robert, Clarence and William Benner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Cafferty; and his sisters, Martha Tibbens (Barry) and Josephine Hallman (Ralph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
