He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin A. Shannon and Clara Shannon (Freed); his son Zachary Shannon of Altoona; his brother Rodney Shannon of Northern Cambria; his stepson Michael Noel of Dysart; and his siblings, Donna Peterman of Altoona, Connie Partridge of Tucson, AZ and David Shannon of Florida. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
