He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Aungst and Betty Aungst (Hammel); and his sister Patti Miller. He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Burk; his children, James Aungst (Linda) of East Freedom, Scott Aungst (Christine) of Altoona, Charles Aungst (Janet) of Altoona, Lisa Vaughn (Paul) of Altoona and Ashley Whitney (Dustin) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Carli, Meghan, Emma, Ava Aungst, Emily Rupert, Elizabeth Vaughn, Henry, EJ Lohsl and Gianna Berardinelli; his great grandchild Michael Rupert; his stepgrandchildren, Iverson, Cohen and Alex; and his brothers, Terry Aungst of Altoona and Jeff Aungst of Altoona.
