With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janis M. (Moyer) Powell Kinney of Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Powell and Ruth Powell (Moyer). She is survived by: her husband James L. Kinney; her daughter Janis Abram of Altoona; her grandchildren, Cory Abram, Cole Abram (Amy), Heather Sprouse (Mark), Connor Abram (Melissa) and Jenna Koelle (Brett); and her brother Bill Powell (Beverly) of East Berlin. She is also survived by nine great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (301 Spruce St, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648).
