He was predeceased by: his brother James Robert Whistel. He is survived by: his parents, John Eckard Sr. and Linda Walk (Wertz); his wife Amber McConnell; his children, Dylan Eckard, Elijah Foster, Maverick, Peighton and Charles Eckard; his siblings, Dawn Stahl, Teresa Fletcher and Sam Eckard; his half-brothers, John Steiner II and Dennis Steiner; and his stepsister Lea Stahl. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
