It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kristie L. Porta of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Young, and LaDonna Young, Sr. (Davis); her grandson Payton J. Selden; and her siblings, Kathie Bartley, LaDonna Lauver and John O. Young, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Ray; her daughters, Crystal Selden (Herb) and Melissa Huss (Terry); her grandchildren, Amanda, Orin, Nicholas and Tyler; and her close friend Autumn Temple (Don). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Stevens Memorial Chapel (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602).
