He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex McMickens and Anna Mae McNeal; and his sisters, Alison L. Morton and Edwina Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sonja; his children, Tameka Lov McNeal-Harris of Charleston, SC, Quenell L. Melton-Richardson of Altoona, PA, Michael L. McNeal Jr. of Philadelphia, PA and John Weaver of Altoona, PA.; and his siblings, Lowell E. McMickens of Huntingdon, PA and Michelle Isenberg of Tunkhannock.
