Philip N. George Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip N. George of Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Webster and Norma George Webster (Button); his son Daniel George; and his sisters, Beth George and Donna Slocum.
He is survived by: his wife Nona Courtright; his daughters, Lois George of Belleville and Amanda George-Wheaton (David) of Lutherville; his grandchildren, Joshua George (Amy) of Bellwood, William Huling, Emmett Wheaton and Warner Wheaton; and his great grandchild Scarlett George. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters and stepbrothers and stepsisters.
