We bid farewell to Rick L. Dobson of Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 19, 2025 at the age of 45. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Rick L. Dobson, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Barbara A. "Robin" Dobson (Bender); his brother Brad (Becca) of Altoona; and his niece Scarlett of Altoona. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to The Heart Association, Pittsburgh Metro Office, 444 Liberty Ave, Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222; or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA, 22116-7023.
