With solemn reverence, we commemorate Silvio DeGol (Altoona, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on August 7, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony DeGol and Josephina DeGol (Balest); his wife Elizabeth DiBonto of Patrick's Catholic Church; his son John Michael; his son-in-law Reverend John Klingeman; his siblings, Candido DeGol (Genevieve), Mary Taddei (Angelo), Victor DeGol (Joanna), Bruno DeGol (Lena), Leo DeGol (Doris) and Dora Fabbri (Bruno); and his sisters-in-law, Helen, Evelyn and Ann DeGol.
He is survived by: his children, Judith Klingeman, Janet Barroner (Dave), Joyce DeGol and Joseph DeGol (Lisa); his grandchildren, Justin Barroner (Meghan), Dr. Jonathan Klingeman, Brittani Kunkel (Ben) and Dr. Joseph DeGol; his great grandchildren, Marley, Remme, Daevaney, Hennessey Barroner, Carson, Lucya, Kallie and Gianna Kunkel; and his brothers, Leno, Raymond, John and James DeGol (Betty Anne).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (2716 Broad Ave, Altoona, PA 16601).
