It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophia Catherman of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Sr. Angermeier and Theresa Angermeier (Kneidenger); her husband James R. Catherman Sr.; and her siblings, Ann Mercer, Marcella Angermeier, Patricia Treese and Charles H. Angermeirer, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Stephen A. Barr (Karen J.) of Altoona; her granddaughter Hannah R. Barr (Joshua McMillan) of Altoona; her brother John Angermeirer of Emmaus; and her close friend Gary Helsel. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
