He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Sr. Barnes and Ruby Lorie Barnes (Pattillo); and his siblings, Evelyn Hatfield, Sharon Barnes and Ronald Barnes.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Carol S. Wholaver; his sons, Jarrod Patrick of Pittsburgh and Timothy Carter of Altoona; his stepson Jeff Wholaver; his grandchildren, Alexis Walker, Tyson Carter, Tate Carter, Abigail Carter, Logan, Malkin, Haylie, Olivia and Tyler Wholaver; and his siblings, Marcella Madden (James), Rhonda White and Richard Barnes (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family members and friends.
