He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Eliou and Anna Lagoumizis Eliou; his wife Christina Rigas Eliou; his children, Anna Napoleon (Tom) of Indiana, Michael Eliou (Lisa) of Pittsburgh, Katina Eliou of Harmony Twp, Emanuel Eliou of Ambridge, Gayle Maretti of Harmony Twp and John Fennick of Butler; his grandsons, James Eliou (Carrie), Joseph Eliou and Dimitri Napoleon; and his sister Irene Nicholas of Aliquippa.
