He is survived by: his spouse Beckie Hampton Briggs; his children, Rhonda Gatten (Ralph) of Scenery Hill, Lawrence Briggs Jr. of Amity and Danett Briggs (Brad Arbes) of Newport Ritchey; his grandchildren, Chad Fowler (Joanna) of Pittsburgh, Adam McNary (Ashley) of Port View, Lukas Gatten (Elizabeth Morris) of Scenery Hill, Dallas McNary of Eighty Four and Noah Gatten (Amber) of Morgantown; his great grandchild Aubrey McNary; his siblings, Maxine Barker, Lois Henderson, Mary Louise Reed, Laura Jean Lyle, Gwendolia Briggs, Ivan "Ike" Briggs, Milo Briggs, Ray Briggs Jr. and Donald Briggs; and his half-brothers, Lester and Harold Garrett.
