Salvatore J. Fanelli Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore J. Fanelli (Apollo, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Pasquale Fanelli and Angeline Fanelli (Scaglione); and his brothers, Nick and Joseph Fanelli. He is survived by : his wife Carole D. Fanelli (Foster) of Bell Twp; his sons, Robert V. Fanelli (Kim) of Ford City and John D. Fanelli (Tiffany) of Bell Twp; his granddaughters, Krysta Taylor (Evan), Genna Mancine (Justin) and Jessica Fanelli; his great grandchildren, Avery, Luna, Nova, Piper, Theo and Henry; and his siblings, Filomena Varvaro of Westview, Carmela Fanelli of Westview and Leon Fanelli of Bell Twp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church (505 Cambria Ave, Avonmore, PA 15618).
