She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howard and Carolyn Pilkington Howard; her husband Donald G. Johnston; and her son Donald G Johnston, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Diana Venuti (Bill), Dan Johnston (Donna) and Doug Johnston (Michele); and her siblings, Shirley Robinson and John Howard. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
