He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scholes and Blanche Annett Scholes; and his siblings, James, Harold, Edward, Howard "Hub" Scholes, Elizabeth "Betty" Sperg, William and Agnes Marlene.

He is survived by: his siblings, Blanche Hurst and Donald Scholes (Emma). He is also survived by niece.

Donations in his memory may be made to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063.
