He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Grant, Francis, Regina Scarpato, Mary Lauser and Patricia Gallagher; his daughters, Carol Battinieri (Paul) and Nicole Scarpato; his brother John Scarpato; his grandchildren, Kyle Battinieri, Lindsay Gretsky, Kayla and Luke Zalewski; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Lewis (Dan), Betty Zeleznick (Butch) and Anna Howarth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
