He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Shaw and Jesse Strain; his stepfather Joseph Strain; and his brothers, Richard Shaw and Wayne Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley McFarland Shaw; his children, Lauren Shaw, Megan Shaw and Ryan Shaw (Amber); his grandchildren, Lina Shaw and Remi Shaw; and his siblings, Reginald, Leon, Kevin, Steven Shaw, Tamre Reynolds and Catherine McKinley.
