He was loved and cherished by many people including: his aunt Linda Diane Volturo; his parents, John Olsen and Marie Olsen; his child Robert S. Olsen; his wife Barbara Olsen; his son William Carpenter; his siblings, John "Jack" Olsen, Virginia Klambara, Michael Olsen and Thomas Olsen; and his grandchildren, Brody and Briley Carpenter.
