He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carpenter and Kathleen Carpenter (Gallagher); his son Robert "Bobby" Carpenter; and his brother James Carpenter. He is survived by: his sister Margaret Carpenter Ragni; his wife Donna Eckman Carpenter; his sons, Eugene "Gene" Mancuso and Daniel "Dan" Mancuso (Kellie); his brother Edward Carpenter; and his grandsons, Daniel, Nicholas Mancuso and Dominic Burrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
