It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye McPherson Griffis (Athens, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 10, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Mary Horton and Margaret "Jane" Gold. She is survived by: her parents, Millard A. McPherson and Neva B. Blair McPherson; her spouse Craig W. Griffis; her granddaughters, Julia Griffis and Melinda Griffis; and her sister Ruth Smith of Harrisonburg, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews cousins and many good friends.
