He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Werner (Reber) and Floyd F. Werner. He is survived by: his significant other Lynn Van Duyne; his children, Scott Werner (Maria) of Orwigsburg and Stacy Oswald of Danville; and his grandchildren, Kevin and Laura Werner of Orwigsburg.
