He was predeceased by : his parents, Jay M. Bechtold and Ruth Longenecker Bechtold; and his sister Marian E. Kanode. He is survived by : his wife Connie L. Stutzman Bechtold; his children, Krista (Scott Garner) of Bainbridge and Ryan (Crystal Craig Bechtold) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Madison Fulford (Dustin), Chloe Garner and Silas Bechtold; and his siblings, June M. Bechtold of Elizabethtown, Marlin E. (Jan Bechtold) of Mount Joy, Wayne L. (Debbie Bechtold) of Harrisburg, Harold L. (Sue Bechtold) of Elizabethtown and Paul D. (Lisa Bechtold) of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
