Rebecca Ann Jones Parsons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Ann Jones Parsons of Bangor, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Labar and Anna Rebecca Jones (Mills); and her siblings, Charles, Richard Jones, Elizabeth Baumgardner and Carol Hiesler.
She is survived by: her husband Harold R. Parsons; her children, Kelly Jones Steinmetz, Shelly Jones Strunk (Reuben), Dawn Long Abbott (Bob), Holly Parsons Encina (Jamie), Heather Parsons McCarty (Russell), Todd Parsons (Jill) and Shanon Parsons (Pamela); her siblings-in-law, Pat Jones, Faye Jones and Mark Hiesler; and her close friend Leann Lambert. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services (4 Lillian Ln, Bangor, PA 18013). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
