He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Filby and Helvi Flanders Filby; his wife Rose M. Filby; his nephew Justin Filby; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Filby.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Mihalcin (Robert) of Charleroi, PA, Tina Filby (Richard Power) of Brownsville, PA and Lora O'Neil (David) of Charleroi; his grandchildren, Baylee Workman (Ryan), Brayden Mihalcin, Tyler and Taryn O'Neil; and his brothers, Robert, Richard and John Filby.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. (2830 Main St, Beallsville, PA 15313). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
