He is survived by: his wife Jacoba "Coby" Bouwers; his children, Joy Tonia Miedema (Carl), Delia Ann Bianchin (Robert), Rosalie Mae Heida (Edward), Leo Johannes Bouwers (Ruth) and Shawna Teresa Koprucki (Michael); his grandchildren, Micah James Carleton, Liane Joy Brown (Seth), Aaron Tomas Miedema, Ian Richard Miedema, Joel Klaas Heida, Julia Michela Bianchin, Annelise Jacoba Heida, Eric Juba Bouwers, Shawn Pieter Bouwers, Simon Anthony Bianchin, Peter Henry Koprucki and Clare Louise Koprucki; and his brothers, Henk Bouwers, Albert Bouwers (Gertie) and John Bouwers (Anne).
