He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Shaffer and Mabel Shaffer; his brother Robert; his brother-in-law Merrill Pflug; and his nephew Michael Pflug.
He is survived by: his wife Cathleen; his children, Susan Neumann, Kristen Holmes (Bill) and Craig (Dawn); his stepsons, Scott Brooks (Penny) and Brian Brooks (Carrie); his siblings, Donald (Sella), Dennis (Joann), Hilda Pflug and Nancy Alexander (Paul); his sister-in-law Julia Shaffer; and his grandchildren, Katie Neumann, Logan Shaffer, William, Dabney Holmes, Carter Brooks, Sidney, Brayden Brooks, Travis and Tessa Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church Soup Kitchen, 1103- 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
