He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayward Glen Hitt and Emmaline Hitt Secoy (Smith); his wife Lucy Rose Hitt (Yarnevich); his son Michael Hitt; his son-in-law Charles Cornelison; and his siblings, Ronald Hitt, Rosemary Dunlap and Toxy Roberts.
He is survived by: his close friends, Mark Hitt, Ginger Sanner, Matthew Hitt, Tina Holbrook and Chippewa Twp; his daughter Teresa Cornelison (Hitt); and his granddaughters, Roxanne Stewart and Heather Hitt. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
