He was predeceased by: his wife Martha E. Steel; and his sister Zelma McCowin. He is survived by: his children, Linda Wiese (Ronald) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Dennis McCowin (Lucy), Bruce McCowin (Debra), Chippewa Twp and Connie Sherrod (Damon); his grandchildren, David (Peggy), Rhonda, Chandra, Rachel (Josh), Jarrod (Heather), Amanda (Andrew), Brian, Tina and Tom; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Emmet, Ellie, Norah, Caleb, Hazel, Judah, Cruz, Vera, Winnie and Christopher.
