She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Gabele and Jessie Gabele (Blankenbicker); her husband Howard K. Thomas; and her siblings, George Gabele, Homer Portman and Jean Engelman.
She is survived by: her children, David Thomas (Rose), Judy Herstine (Clarence), Economy and Cecely Llewellyn (Tom); her grandchildren, Erin, Seth, Rachel (Howard), Jessica (Jesse), Stephanie (Luke) and Frankie (Latricia); her brother John Gabele (Pat); and her close friend Betty Shanahan.
