She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred R. Hayes and Isabelle G. Lester Hayes; and her sister Judy Specht. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Bonnie Bricker) and Scott Bricker (Lena Andrews); her sister Linda; and her brother-in-law Hans Baier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bike Pittsburgh, 188 43rd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 or to the Chippewa United Methodist Church.
