He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Sr. Girvan and Marie Girvan (Devins). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Girvan (Dowd); his children, Greg M. Girvan (Amy), Ken G. Girvan, Jeff M. Girvan (Jodi) and Michelle A. Dunstan (David); his grandchildren, Jessie, Samantha, David Jr. Dunstan, Jared, Josh and Jocelyn Girvan; his great grandchild Joseph; and his siblings, Nancy Carey (Robert) and William Girvan (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
