She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vasil and Maude Vasil; her husband William B. Valentine; and her siblings, John, MaryAnn, Margaret, Robert, James, Billy, Andrew and Aileen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Valentine (Vivian), Rebecca Valentine and Kelly Higgins (Francis); her sister-in-law Jeanne Bachmann (Oliver); and her grandchildren, Ryan Whitlock (Naoko), Chad Whitlock (Heather), Marissa Mullinax (Dave), J. T. Portman, Meghan Higgins (Stephanie) and Shaun Higgins. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
